Our co-op

Since 1989, Prospect-Seeley Housing Corporation has maintained a history of financial health, a strong reserve fund, and a record of responsible financial management.

These four-story buildings are home to a total of 49 units, a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments located across the street from Prospect Park’s lake and woodlands.

Each apartment is a corner unit with two exposures. Front-facing apartments overlook the park. Those in the rear have views of the leafy backyards of single-family homes adjoining our property.

Amenities include space in the basement to stow your bicycles, two laundry rooms with unlimited use for a flat monthly fee, and storage units available for rent.

A live-in super maintains the buildings and grounds and assists with home repair, and a part-time porter provides support on garbage and recycling/compost collection days.

In addition, we have strong, long-established relationships with trusted local contractors for larger building repair and renovation work.

We’re a multi-generational co-op whose profile mirrors the city’s: a mix of native New Yorkers and people born across the US, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. We love the diversity and the things we have in common: a sense of community and a commitment to being good neighbors.

And yes! We are pet-friendly.

This is a nice place to call home.
